Spiral steel pipe is usually made by strip steel. As compared with straight
seam welded pipe, the spiral seam steel pipe has the advantage that it has
higher strength.There is a great flexibility on choosing the material for making
spiral steel pipes. Because spiral pipe manufacturers are able to produce spiral
tubes with a large diameter by using narrow strip steel materials. They can also
use strip steel with the same width to produce spiral steel tubes with different diameters.

The spiral steel pipe has found applications in natural gas and petroleum transportation,
heating supply, and water supply industries, etc. It is also applicable for using in power
stations, bridge constructions, and steel structure projects.
